Having gained invaluable experience as a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) since 2006, Eddy's early involvement in the industry provided him with a unique perspective on the creative process. In 2015, he embraced the digital era by creating content on platforms like YouTube, further honing his storytelling skills and connecting with a wider audience.
Seeking to refine his craft, Eddy made the decision to attend film school, enrolling at the Digital Film Academy. During his time there, he wrote and directed two impactful short films, showcasing his ability to craft compelling narratives and bring them to life on screen.
Since his departure from film school, Eddy has been immersed in a flurry of professional activity. As an independent producer, he has successfully completed notable projects, including the drama "In Fidelity," starring the talented Chris Parnell from Saturday Night Live, which wrapped up in September 2022. His dedication to the industry led him to assume the role of assistant director at the First Frame International Film Festival before transitioning to the Big Apple Film Festival, where he served as the assistant to the festival director while also contributing as a judge.
Eddy's skill and talent as a screenwriter have not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by his numerous successes in prestigious screenwriting competitions over the past two years. With over a dozen wins to his name and semi-finalist recognition at renowned events like the Big Apple Film Festival and the Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival, Eddy's scripts have captivated industry professionals and audiences alike.
